Summer is once again at its end here in Syracuse and Central New York. How was it for everybody? For us here at Swimm Landscaping, it was our busiest yet. We’re glad to have met and worked with a great group of new (and old) clients. Our business is getting ready to wind down for the long winter but we are still accepting work for the time being.

Hello CNY! This snow season has been the worst winter Syracuse has seen since the 1992/93 year, but we here at Swimm Landscaping think it’s finally over. From what we’ve gathered, there was a lot of snowplow damage to many people’s yard and grass. If your snowplow guy “isn’t responsible” for damage to your yard, give us a call! We specialize in getting your yard back to its normal, healthy state.

We’ve also fixed dug up sewer lines and performed general clean up after stump grinding. In addition, we offer special rock-bottom deals on mulching and spring cleanup this time of year. Greater Syracuse and Central New York look like a postcard right now, the reds and yellows and browns and oranges combining for a feast of sight. Though it doesn’t seem like it now, as we are all focused on the beauty autumn brings in the northeast, Spring will be here before we know it! (Okay…we admit it…we hate winter as much as you…saying over and over again that Spring is near tends to convince us that it’s true…even if it isn’t.) If you hope to have beautiful, fruitful beds come Spring, you must act quickly, as bulbs must be in the ground before it freezes. Winter now seems like a distant memory here at Swimm Landcaping in Syracuse! Central New York looks beautiful and is in full bloom. Swimm Landscaping followers – It’s been a busy spring here in Syracuse. Tulips are blooming, red bud trees have beautiful pink buds and Magnolias are gorgeous. Its truly landscaping season. Take a minute and check out the awesome blooms on these plants and shrubs. We have been out mulching, cleaning out beds and working on drawings for new installations for mid-summer. The time is now to contact us and get on the radar to complete that brick walkway or landscape project you’ve had in mind for your new house.

Swimm Landscape is also gaining ground as a fast-growing small business in the greater Syracuse area. We are putting up our second greenhouse back at the farm. We are further modifying our vehicles for the most effective and efficient work use. We’ve also stepped up our aesthetics. We’ve got brand new shirts in both green and black. Spring is finally here! The snow has melted, the sun is out and the birds are chirping. We’ve been busy over here at Swimm Landscape & Plant Nursery Inc. Our greenhouse is finally up and running and is growing a wide variety of colors of 10″ wave petunia and impatient baskets. Keep on the lookout for our vinyl banner at the Syracuse Regional Market! Our winterized plant stock has been uncovered and is soaking up the sun as we speak. We’ve already been out landscaping, working locally in Warners and Baldwinsville and in the city in Eastwood. We’ve also added some images to the facebook page; you can check it out at facebook.com/swimm.landscape. We are also offering cash for referrals this year.

Swimm Landscaping is getting ready for another busy year this spring! We’ve been busy framing and finishing our greenhouses to grow some of the best baskets in the greater Syracuse Area. From Impatiens, to Wave Petunias to Tomato Baskets, we are hoping to have a productive spring in the greenhouse and at the Syracuse Regional Farmer’s Market.

In other news, we are modifying our trucks and tools to better serve our customers. We’ve also designed new shirts and uniforms. Excited to see the bulbs blooming and birds chirping? So are we!
